This great smile photo is submitted by my new social network friend Kellyology on Plurk. I was reading my Plurk friends’ web site or blogs and found some great smiles that really make me smile too. You can find Kelly’s blog at Kellyology.
Let’s see what Kelly has to say about her smile and happiness.
1. Something about you and your blogs/sites.
I am a 30-something mother of two from Small Town, Oklahoma, USA who talks about her life experiences and shares her sometimes surprising opinions about family, friends, and the world on Kellyology.
2. Why were you smiling in the photo?
It was the first day of a recent family vacation, and my family and I were making the best of a rainy day in a Dinosaur Museum. Everyone was so excited to be on vacation, and even if we had been at the most horrible place on earth, I think we’d still be smiling. And on top of that…my kids were cracking me up. I don’t remember exactly what was said but my son, who is really quick on his toes, said something really funny right before this picture was taken.
3. How would you find happiness and be happy?
I find happiness by not taking life or myself too seriously. I find humor in almost everything, and even when I sometimes I seem to be drowning in the negative, I pull myself out with my favorite motto, “it is what it is.” I find that by accepting things for what they are, and not allowing the negative things to take to much importance in my life, I have all of the time I need to really experience all of the greatness that is out there.
4. What is the secret of your great smile?
Cocktails. No, no. I’m just kidding. Actually I look best smiling when I’m actually laughing. And my family and I had really been having a good laugh right before that picture was taken.
5. What would you recommend people do to find happiness and be happy?
Take the time to be quiet. Take the time to think and take stock of your life. And live life in every moment in the moment. I’m positive everyone can find something to be happy about.
Kelly is right, we should take easy enjoy our life. It is what it is. When we have positive thinking, everything seem to be easier to deal with. A great family time will definitely give us the best chance to think very positive. Would you like to think positive? Be sure to add Kelly as your Plurk friends and visit her great blog. There are more happy blogger smiles that you don’t want to miss.
